Our Story

From Italian inspiration to handcrafted fragrance experiences

STANZA Artigiana was born in 2019 from a love of fragrance, craftsmanship and the warm atmosphere of Italian homes — and from a deep desire to bring a new idea of luxury to London.

The name STANZA means “room” in Italian. From the beginning, our aim has been simple: to create scents and objects that make a space feel personal, warm and beautifully lived in.

Inspired by the colours, light and lush fragrances of the Amalfi coast, we opened our boutique to share handmade candles, reed diffusers and artisan pieces with our local community. We believed then — as we do now — that luxury is not about owning expensive things. It is about surrounding yourself with carefully crafted objects that tell a story.

For several years, our physical boutique gave us the chance to meet customers face to face, host workshops, collaborate with London artisans and build something that felt genuinely rooted in community and craftsmanship.

At the end of 2024, we closed the boutique and began a new chapter.

Rather than stepping away from STANZA Artigiana, we chose to evolve. Today, we focus on the parts of the business that feel most personal and meaningful: candle-making workshops, bespoke fragrance creation, third-party product development and our online store.

This new model allows us to work more closely with people, brands and businesses — creating hand-poured candles and reed diffusers for homes, corporate gifts, private events, interior designers and special occasions.

Every STANZA piece is still made in small batches, with the same attention to scent, atmosphere and detail that has always defined us. Our work is inspired by Italian warmth, slow living, artisan craftsmanship and the emotional power of fragrance.
